Microsoft does not send out updates by e-mail.
Anything in your e-mail claiming to be an internet or security patch update is a virus.
No legitimate financial institution (including PayPal/eBay) EVER sends you an e-mail asking you to update your information. If you have updated your info from one of these e-mails you were sent to a site that looked like the real site but it wasn't. You should contact the issuer of your credit card and/or bank immediately and also change any passwords you revealed to the scammer!
